I have a 95 and a 97 Maxima. I'm going to be selling the 97 soon but I want the steering wheel out of it if I can. I did some searching and tell me if i'm wrong. (The 97 wheel + airbag will work fine on the 95.)



I did not find a specific answer saying that a 95 wheel would work on a 97.

Has anyone put a 95/96 wheel+airbag into a 97-99? What did you have to do to make it fit? Dremel a hole somewhere?


Also, to anyone that's done any steering wheel swap: Did the airbag light come on at all or not? If it did, did you just reset it via sticky instructions? Anyone follow the sticky instructions and have them not "work" & have to go to the dealer?


If I find out there VERY little chance of running into problems resetting my airbag lights I'll just figure out the rest of the 95/96 To 97-99 swap myself.
