dude you live in staten island. there are a million places to buy axles from that will warranty them for life. And if you have a problem you have a local place where you can go for an exchange.

Arch Auto Parts in brooklyn sells them for $67. Clearway sells them for about the same price. Both have lifetime warranties.

all the aftermarket axles are basically the same. If you're lucky you'll get one that is a factory axle rebuild. If not, you'll get one with aftermarket CV joints.

Thats why you have to give them the core. They dont just throw them away, they send them to shops where the axles are rebuilt and/or refurbished.

If you have some time on your hands and you want a factory axle, there's a guy in Savannah Georgia that will rebuild your factory axle to factory spec, put on a neoprene boot, and send it back to you.

I think he charges $75-100 with heavy duty factory sized bearings and joints. A lot of BMW guys send their axles there.

You have got to be Mother F***king joking me. Had I known there was such a person in Savannah, I would have gotten my axle rebuild instead of waiting till I moved out of Savannah, back to ATL and try to buy a autozone axle.

great

Yeah deezy. I went there for my friend with his S4. The guy really loves axles. They're his shayt. He'll make you understand axles and only then will he take your money.

Kinda like the rain man of axle rebuilds.

You have no idea how much that sucks. I worried everyday about my axles, the click like crazy when warming up, and pretty much at every wide or u-turn. I could have gotten them rebuilt with quality rather than waiting and going with an Auto zone one.

F***k. . . oh well, not much I can do about it now. I'm done and moved from Savannah.
