Reducing exhaust vibration....

So far, I have sound deadened the entire trunk, top of the trunk lid, rear deck, and the rear bench. Im still getting some exhaust vibration from where im sitting in the car. Is there any solution to this? I was thinking about using some rubberized undercoating to go under the car right above where the exhaust travel, but I doubt it will hold up with the heat. Can anyone confirm this?

Yea, that and a new resonator. But the vibration is still there.

How'd my guy do? how much did he charge?

As far as the vibration goes, why don't you just soundproof the whole car? or secure the exhaust better with some more hangers

He did a decent job, only charged me $60 to install both.

The soundproofing has already began, but Id rather eliminate the vibration first, becuase its traveling through the gas/brake pedals, ebrake, etc. Maybe ill see if he can weld in some hangers on the ypipe.

you shouldnt have to do all this to stop exhaust vibration.

Jack up the car and look at the entire exhaust from front to back. See if there are any spots where the exhaust is in contact with the underside of the car. You can shake the exhaust with your hand and see if anything hits or rubs.

There should be no connection between the pipe and the underside of your car without a rubber bushing in between. You might need to add a few hangers or bend some to give a little more clearance.
