Help With Tires

i have 17 inch rims on right now... and i need 2 tires. I was looking for a WIDTH that i should get.. i am tryin to get really thick rear tires.... cuz i lov the way it looks... wats the size that would be ideal for me? the car is lowered 2inches on sprints... i have the 01 17inch rims

thich, eh? meh, they may look good on a max, but look much better on a RWD. oh well, couldn't hurt. but i don't know if you can fit anything wider than a 235 or so. 225 is pretty typical and and wider is overkill IMO.

If your rims are at least 7.5 inches wide I'd go with 235s. I dont have 17s I have 18s that are 7.5 inches wide and am running 235/40/18 BFGoodrich G-force Sports. I know some guys run 245s and some have rubbing issues while others don't. Never heard of problems with 235s though
