Well at least they didn't hit anywhere else on the car, hitting a body panel or something would have been worse. I'm not saying this isn't though.

32 bucks +15 S&H - for each side - in black.... not sure if you have heated mirrors or not (these are not heated - or at least it wasn't stated that they were).

i had teh same thing...but only happened to me n 3 other friends that were parked i nthe same parking lot...it was at my friend's school..but luckily i ordered one on e-bay. doesn't matter what color they are since you can change the shell..its relatively easy to do..all you have to do is pop the mirrow off..there's like lil nothces on the side where you have to put a flat head it to pop it off..n then you'll see the screws i'm talking about to take the cover off...so just find a passenger mirror, n buy it...n don't care what color it is...i think i bought mine for like $36 shipped..but i got the oem one..i believe the aftermarket ones you can't replace the cover n also doesns't fold..

well fortunately it looks as if its covered in my insurance. the pictures are takin where the car was parked when it happened - parallel parked next to a side walk. Upon further review it seems as if someone was walking down the side walk and just hit one car after another - there were about 4 or 5 others also parallel parked in front of me. at first i thought it was an attack on "tuners" bc one of the others was a new Civic SI but there was a truck (whos mirror was completely ripped off) and like a Chevy cavalier. so i think it was someone just being stupid - hes lucky i didnt see him do it............

hey man.. i think i got you beat.. last sunday i was walking down to my car and realized as i was walking up there was a dent on my hood.. someone in my apartment complex obviously launched a beer bottle off their balcony and it happened to land on the hood of my car.. and now there is a dent about the size of a quarter.. thats about 1/4 inch deep.. and took the paint off all the way down to the metal.. as you can see in the pics there is a ring from the bottom of the beer bottle around the dent.. so be thankful it could always be worse.. luckily its only a side mirror instead of a hood.. but i agree ppl dont have any respect for other ppls property anymore.. either way it sux..

If that were my car there would be a lot more than beer bottles being put through every door to every balcony above where your car was parked. Id be pissed.

They BOTH fold. I got run off the road on the Beltline (near New Bern Ave.) by a truck and hit a lane marker and broke bnoth the mirror and the hinge. Bought mine thru Ebay. If the hinge is broken, you'll have to replace the whole assembly. Easy job to do. I can send you pictures when I did mine if you like. Email or PM me.

Ouch! I am constantly worried about someone trying to lop off my side view mirrors. I come out of the store and one if not both of them are folded in. Just a matter of time i guess.

That beer bottle thing sucks too, but is a little funny with the perfect imprint of the bottom of the bottle.

Good luck getting your stuff repaired.

man i never saw those ebay ones....i bought one from the junk yard in "decent" condition for about that price, probably a little cheaper. so now one is black and one is my car color.
i cant decide if i like my mirros to match my car or if i like them black. im honestly just completely split about it.
