I have to get a new clutch put in by the dealer on a 96 next week. Since I can't post a thread (not enough posts yet) I'm jumping this one for the moment. Anyone have any estimate on what it might cost? My mechanic said it's one of the few things he can't (probably won't) do on this car because the engine is so crammed in there so it has to go to the dealer (by my decision). I hear they're pretty expensive....500? 600? 700? 800? : (

DO NOT GO TO THE DEALER. If you mechanica wont do it, go to someone else. The dealer will charge you a FORTUNE. Or look in the regional section for any max guys that are close to you that can do it for you.

madmax: why are you changing all of that? do you only need a new clutch and someone told you to get all of that, or what?
