some bad knocking

I just got back from a 800 mile trip and i am running arco 91 octane. Pings like a mother over 80mph going up a hill. Could that be a bad knock sensor? I will floor it and it goes away. I dont get it.

the manual warns u of this uphill knocking...believe it or not.

things to check

incorrect grade of fuel
ignition timing incorrect
fuel injection system faulty
improper or damaged spark plugs
egr valve not functioning
vacuum leak
