Replacing Rear Struts...
the mechanic said that my right rear strut is bad and w.e i feel it in the ride....u tihnk i should replace both rear struts while im buyin the new ones...? money doesnt matter just that idk if the left rear strut is affect by the bad right strut....

im assuming hes looking for a more cost effective solution instead of dropping $800 on it.
If you hit a pothole and it blew, then just replace that single strut thats bad. otherwise you need to check if the other strut is squeaking or leaking by removing it and checking it. its an easy chagne with a spring compressor and another person.

You don't even need a spring compressor for the rears. I did my rears with illuminas last week. I would just go ahead and replace both of them, it's not that hard to do, and if you replace one, it's only a matter of time before the other one goes. If you get illuminas you got a lifetime warranty as long as you keep within the specified drop. $150 shipped for the pair from performance peddler.
