hey everybody, i want to custom turbo my maxi, and i was wondering if i will have to make the headers my self, or is there a company out there that has them, please let me know. thank you

 

May want to post this in the turbo section but. . . You basically want the turbo to be mounted directly to the headers? That would be a part that would have to be custom fab. But I'm pretty sure the is next to zero space to do so if you wanted to.

It probably is better to run piping that will have to turbo sitting where the battery was, thats a much cooler spot than by the headers. Check out the turbo section and other peoplpes setups

 

You should have posted in the supercharged/turbo forum. There are a couple kits out there premade or you can piece it together by using an aftermarket header. with the stock manifold you could do it with a reverse or forward y, but it depends on the hp and spool rate you want. turbo manifold not headers. headers are for NA cars. check out the turbo section of the site theres so much info there on anything u could possibly ask.

 

You NEED to read the FAQ and stickies in FI forum. I dunno if you need turbo headers....wait, what ARE turbo headers?

 

You just put 6 tiny turbos on each exahust port and elminate the need for headers all together.
