Calling all those with stock muffler on aftermarket b-pipe

Ive been calling around and most places say their b-pipes wont fit the factory muffler. Did yall weld yours on or is there a company that makes a b-pipe that fits the stock muffler?

hmm ive heard both stories as well. it seems like people are getting it to work which makes me think they do bolt up and maybe the companoes are saying it doesnt just to make you buy a muffler and/or so they arent liable in case fitment isnt perfect. can we get other people with aftermarket bpipe and stock muffler to chime in?

Im in Toronto, I bought mine from a company called Brullen, bolted right up with stock muffler, Make sure you get a resonated B-pipe, if not it will sound too loud. As far as performance, I noticed about 5 butt hp.

Hey Grant,
I think you got your letters mixed up..
The Y-pipe gives almost 18HP if im not mistaken...
I think he meant the B-pipe adds that much.

^^^^ correct - the Y-pipe is the big gain (15-18 hp) ive heard the B-pipe may provide an additional 5-8 hp w/ Y-pipe and muffler.

to the people with either WS or Budget B-Pipes, how low does the pipe hang? I've heard some complaints about how the pipe hangs too low to the ground.

mine WS did hang low, but i just bought an extra hanger from autozone and strapped it on the bar running parallel w/ the car right behind the rear passenger side wheel. (sorry i dont know the tech. term for this bar) anyway, it doesnt hang low at all now.
