Ok i know there are a million posts about this, but there are a few Q's i have. I have just ordered the stillen Y pipe for my max. First I just want to know where and how much I should want/expect to pay for this install (i'm hoping not more then like $90-$100 at the most). Also, for those of you who have added this pipe onto your car (along w/some sort of high flow intake) how much of a difference do you really feel upon acceleration. I know its a little late because I've already ordered the pipe, but describe the actual difference that you feel after adding this to your max. Any imput would be greatly appreciated, thanks a lot.

Price to install will very depending on area, and where you take it but I would say expect to pay less than $100. Since the Y-pipe stated it is not street legal, some places may not be willing to install it, just keep trying different places. Expect to get about 10hp, most noticable gains are on the hwy.

As far as install, expect anywhere from 50-120 or so. It will vary on location.

And power gains, you should notice a "good" increase. I mean you will definitly feel it in the butt dyno. As far as hp gains, on a auto, it made 9hp and 10lbs to the wheels. Not bad of power gains on a auto. I'm sure it will make about 1-2hp more on a 5 speed. I have also seen a y-pipe take .4 off a q-mile. Sprnt can back me up on this (It shaved .4 off for Sprnt).

When I put mine on I lost about .5 sec on my 0-60mph, at least that, I was rippin A$$ with it on, but had a problem with it so I ended up taking it off, waiting for cash to get another one

There are several on the market, so pricing depends on which you want to go with - Stillen, Warpspeed, Cattman.

Here's a picture of the Stillen: http://www.eatricezone.com/images/ypipe01.jpg

B-Pipe?

If i'm getting the Y pipe already, is it worth getting the B pipe as well? I'm not thinking of adding anything else to my exhaust unless i'm gonna notice any significant power gains. What could I expect w/the b-pipe if I added that with my Y pipe? Just to maybe save some time and money I'd have them both installed at the same time if the b pipe is worth it.

some guys that have it say it's not worth it, some say it is.. so it's a toss up.

every bit counts, though..

I can't post the price, so send me a private message or email for a price quote.

Also, Stillen day is next week so if you're willing to wait you can get it for less.

Do it yourself man. It's not hard to do at all. Gains are about 15-20hp and it drops about 10-11lbs of dead weight.
