Ummm Problem again!

Ok, I'm having problems with my car right now...Again. Here's the symptoms:

At 1500RPM - under 3000RPM...The car is LOUD as hell. But it also has a hard time accelerating unless I force it to shift down. I tried checking my ECU and i couldn't read the codes because I didn't know when it started..I believe there were 3 codes but I couldn't keep track. However, somehow I managed to reset it so now I can't check again.

Is there a way to get the check engine soon light back on so I can try again? I believe it has a 0405 knock sensor problem...I could be wrong. I kind of think it could be the catalytic converter because it really noisy around the mid-section of the car.

So any ideas?

Sounds like you might have an exhaust leak (the noise).

The lag in acceleration could be many things - we need those codes... if you aren't able to retrieve them via the ECU screw, then find someone local that can help you pull the codes and post back with them.
