Manual to an Automatic? Most people go the other way. Are you doing the work yourself? Plan on 500-750 for parts (high estimate) + labor.

Good question . . . Never heard of someone price guaging for a Manual to Auto swap.

I'd say guess about the same amount as a auto -> 5 speed. Around $1,300.

Why do you want to go from manual to auto?
You could trade your car to someone with an auto, I'm sure you'd find plenty of people willing.

There you go. . . Many people already.

if you seriously want to go the trade route, decide on a year you want, a specific milage area, and make a post in the classifieds. Try to see if possible to find someone close to you, meet up examine each others cars, go to the auto store and get codes pulled for both cars (to show no codes stored) and if satisfied sigh over titles and enjoy the new car.

Someone needs to post a thread that has all the parts and their estimated prices. I know there is a how-to, but no prices. This would satasfy me and stop a lot of repeating threads.

for the 5th gen setup price should be ~$200shipped. More than $225 for the parts your shopping at the wrong place.

purchasing from one of the many online nissan part stores should set you around the $200 range.

That is it? When you get a 5-Spd Tranny, are you assuming that you get the full tranny, (clutch, pressure plate, throw-out bearing), flywheel, and Master/Slave things?

Sorry that was just a price for the 5th gen clutch. Tranny should be about another $800 and I'd say another $300 in slave/master, pedals etc.

honestly, like others have said, just learn to drive stick. once you know how, it's not any harder than driving auto, and a lot more fun.
