Just before I got into work this morning I have to climb this long hill. I'm following a couple of work vans when I notice that the first van swings over the center line. I thought what the heck and then the van in front of me did the same thing and next thing I see is something black and triangular pop out from underneath it. I think its one of those tire chocks that fell off of a truck. Anyways I run over this thing and went thump-dee-thump-thump, followed by smoke billowing from underneath in the rear view mirror. I thought that I tore out my exhaust but as I got to my underground parking lot I see that my exhaust looks ok but I have a trail of oil leading from my car! What rotten luck!

 

Dang. Time for somebody to make a skid plate for lowered Maximas.

 

r u sure it went "thump-dee-thump-thump" and not dee-thump-thump-dee?

but anyways....u shud obviously kno that befor drivin ur car now u shud check ur oil level in the crankcase. if its a small leak....fill it up and get home asap but monitor the level.
if its gushing out of the pan or wherever its coming from.....get it towed. u would hate to see ur motor go bye bye!
