$18 for shipping??? I understand it costs a buck or two to package and gas to get to the post office to ship it but that's a bit high to ship a manual. Is the post office 100 miles from your house?

I thought this was a community to help out max owners. Don't use the same dirty ebay tricks on here man. That's pretty low.

Based on the weight and USPS Priority Rates the shipping is actually $18. If any of you noticed, this is shipping from Hawaii. Anyway, all of you know the FSM is the bible to repair the Max, and this one is in perfect condition. Sorry I posted in the wrong forum.

I didn't realize the manual weighs 9 pounds?!? Even if it does, you'd be better off shipping via media mail for about $4.50, if the buyer would agree to much longer shipping time of course.

That's awesome. I have FSM in electronic pdf format for each year, from 93-2002. I also have the printed book format for 1997. I like the book cuz it's easy to flip through, and you might stumble onto something interesting just turning pages. The pdf is cool to print a page or 2 out and take to your car to work with, without getting the book dirty.
