Where is the sound coming from? Inside the passenger cabin or inside the engine compartment?

Possible causes include ...

- Lack of lubrication at the pedal pivot point, up under the dashboard.

- Lack of lubrication at the tips of the clutch withdrawal lever or the dimple in the lever where it pivots on the ball joint inside the clutch housing.

You have to identify the source of the sound in order to make a repair plan. Perhaps you can have an assistant sit in the driver's seat and pump the clutch pedal repeatedly while you listen for the sound. A piece of small-diameter rubber tubing can serve as a listening aid. Listen under the dash and in the engine compartment.
