Y-Pipe, problem?

I noticed after i installed my stillen y pipe, that when i rev up the engine and let go of the gas pedal, i heard this kinda like metal vibration as the RPMS drop, kinda like a million bees hitting a big sheet of tin foil at 60 miles an hour. Is this the "bees in a can" noise people have complained about? or should i have to worry about an exaust leak?

camon this isnt that difficult of a question....sigh....

no one knows?

I have heard of people covering up the flex section with header rap to decrease wierd noises, however i dont know if this is that wierd noise people are reffering too, or an exaust leak of some sort...

It's not that we don't know, we just don't care.
Yes that's bees in the can.
It may be a leak.
DO NOT use exhaust wrap, it will trap moisture which in turn will cause rust.

Stillen pipes are notorious for the bees, you'll probably have to live with it.

Yea i dont mind it really, it only is heard when i rev and let the RPMS drop...not while im driving...

As for the moisture and rust, i was thinking of using high temp paint and then rapping over the painted surface with header rap to avoid corrossion....would this be a bad idea?

You'll hear it with the windows down when you're flooring it on the highway.
