go get one made up by a muffler shop shouldnt be more than like $210 or so at the most. or better yet just weld on a muffler and keep the stock b-pipe sense it barely adds any power anyways -Ryan

Pacesetter exhaust has been known to rust out.
Just get the Apexi WS Universal muffler and a Budget B pipe.
Is Pacesetter really that badly built? I mean if somone was going to either buy a stock replacement for almost $200, why not buy the Pacesetter for a few more dollars it has to be better than aftermarket stock replacements right. If it does rust couldn't you coat it before you put it on, like with a high temp corrosion resistant black paint, just tape off the chrome tip? Does the pacesetter sound good, it is quiet? Anybody with a pacesetter, does it rust etc., any info would be nice.
I have a pacesetter, it is 2 1/2 years old and still good. It is a fairly loud exaust and with a resonator in place of the cat. it sounds really nice and deep. You may have to take it to a muffler shop to heat it up for a little more clearence. I am happy with mine.
Yeah, i have this catback as well. THe fitment needs to be messd with a bit. I had trouble with mine because my car was lowered and the exhaust bend over the rear axle, there wasn't enough clearence. This will be the first winter for it but by the looks of it now it shouldn't rust out this winter.
Overall, its a cheap catback with a really nice sound (i'll get video up soon if you want it), just be prepared to mess with the fitment a little.
Here is the Video
-Warpspeed Ypipe
-Place Racing CAI (But just HAI w/monster air filter was used in Vid)
-Pace Setter Catback
Note: The slight rattle you here is from a hanger vibration, just needed to be moved over a little.

I don't trust the brand at all. I cheaped out and got a Pacesetter header for my old 90 240sx less than a year ago, and it interfered with the steering linkages. Talk about dangerous. Took all day of messing with it and in the end had to crush the pipe a little into a "D" shape to clear the steering. I would never put a Pacesetter anything on any car.

I want a catback but don't have the $600 for a good one.
