ARGH! Spark Plug issues!! help...

Ok so I got my V-Power spark plugs and I went to put them in today and apparently my friends shop who put my new engine in siliconed the seals underneath the packs, so i went to a shop around town and they said I need to get the seals and the stems that lead down to the spark plugs(because if they pull them out they will probably break and they are 120k miles old anyways) What are these called and where do I get them? cheap?

thanx in advance

Post something in the 4th Gen classifieds... there are plenty of failed coilpacks out there that people can pull the boots off (for you)...

If you're talking about the end part of the coil pack that sits on top of the spark plug, I read somewhere that, if it breaks off, just apply super glue, let it set, then yank it out again.

Thats correct!

If the coil pack comes off and the boot remains on the spark plug, simply put some super glue on the end and reinsert the coil pack and stalk. Wait about 10 minutes for it to set up and pull the assembly out.

Works like a charm.

MaximaRider, please find another shop to work on your car. It's rare that the boots stick, I don't understand why he's telling you that they break?
