i was wondering if i repainted my car, would its value get decreased? i'm considering repainting the car black, but might not if the resale value gets decreased by a bunch... any thoughts would be appreciated.

it depends...

If it's a shoddy paint job, yes. If you have a white Max and paint it black and the door sills, engine bay, under heed & trunk, inside doors are all still white, yes. If it's a good paint job, no drips, clearcoat, same color as original, then no. I think if the paint looks good & shiny, then most likely anyone buying the car won't even be able to tell. Just stay away from Maaco.
