Greetings All! my 95 SE has a factory alarm/remote. Lately everytime i unlock all the doors, it locks 3 out of 4 within 2 seconds! I will have to unlock again, and it does it again..locks 3 doors. Does this mean my fac. alarm is on its way out?? Thnx for any feedback!

 

I've had the same problem for about a year on my 95. I don't think it means the alarm is dying. At some point I heard that it's because dirt & stuff are getting built up in the loss mechanisms, causing the doors to immediately relock. I have yet to figure out a fix, though.

 

anyone else had this problem b4? if its just a dirty issue..then i prolly wont worry too much

 

That happened to me a few months ago. If I remember correctly, try using your key in the door lock to lock and unlock the door, then try the remote again and it should work fine after that.
