Hitting bumpstops?

I've had my H&R/Illumina combo in for about three months now. I love how the car handles and the comfort. The only problem I have is when I have on person in the rear or even something in the trunk, hitting any little bump becomes annoying. It seems like it hitting the bumpstops way too fast. I tried changing the rears to 4 but it still happens. I'de like to keep my car at 4F/2R because that's where it feels neutral. You think the bumpstops could be the problem?

Fairly common with the rears, but don't usually hear of it with the more mild 1.5" drops. Usually guys with 2"+ drops. You can do 3 things. Trim down the rear bump stops, get some KYB bump stops which allow more travel than stock, or get Ben's rear strut mounts that increase travel.

My Illumina and H&R setup make a creaking sound in the rear as if something is loose when going over road imperfections, can't figure out what is wrong. It don't think it's the bumpstop.

I don't want to get ben's mounts because I don't want to bottom out. Maybe I'll look into the KYB bumpstops. Ram's Max: At first I thought something was loose underneath the car until I jacked it up and checked everything. I then lifted the car by the suspension and found that the springs compressed pretty far with no much pressure; this is why i think it's hitting the bumpstops.

i highly doubt your hitting your bumpstops.. i have the same springs and struts as you. i have extended travel rear mounts, but i have about 140 lbs of stereo in the trunk also.. i have my rear illuminas set on 1, and i have 235/45/17's.. i HIGHLY doubt your hitting them

i dunno.. it could be that, but like i said.. i doubt it.. take a look at your exhaust. mabye the axle is hitting it.. have someone push the back of your car up and down and take a look under there

It's definitely not the exhaust. I can't even budge it pushing really hard. I tried rocking it up and down while it's on the ground but it doesn't make the sound. The sound only comes from the passenger side.
