Code is 0701 - Multiple Cylinder Misfire. I'm stumped because my Max starts right up and runs with absoluteley no problems at all and smooth as silk. Any ideas? Thanks

Hey man, my CEL came on a while back and got some ghost code that wasn't listed anywhere. I just got under the dash and reset the ECU, to turn the light off and haven't seen it since. So before you go start replacing things, try re-setting it. Something stupid may have tripped the light to come on. Good luck.

strange for the SES light to come on w/ the way your Max seems to be running. Like maximaboy said, reset the ECU and keep an eye on it.

Yup that's what I thought, thanks guys. I'm off of work tomorrow but have to stop by the shop anyway and wait for the snap-on and matco trucks to come by so I can make my payments for the week so while I'm waiting I'll hook the max up to some of the diagnostics equipment just to make sure there aren't any other codes lurking in there. If not then I'll just keep an eye on it. Thanks again

most likely a ghost code. I got the same thing one day, cleared it and it never came back.
