I'm thinking of taking off my maxima letters & nissan burger in the back of my car, and painting them black.

Whats a good way of sticking them back on thats as permanent as the originals?

 

3m double sided exterior tape....its red, i got some at home depot

 

Ooooooor, you could go to your local Nissan dealer and purchase the MAXIMA logo that came on the SE-L. It is like a dark gray or almost black. Geting that logo off the trunk without breaking it is tough and then trying to get new tape on.....F that!! Just a suggestion. Good luck with whatever way you decide to go.

 

Oops, also the MAXIMA logo that came with the 97-99 versions looked better. This > MAXIMA as opposed to M A X I M A. It was $8. from CourtesyNissan.com

 

I wanted to be sure the put the same logo on in the same place so I don't end up with mismatched paint.

I don't want to break any letters... I guess I'l just get a new ones and paint them. I like the SE-L letters but I like the M A X I M A letters.

I almost got them for my dash, but that would tough to get them stright, so I used a 97+ logo for the dash & grill

 

I like the '02+ SE logo, which I have on the back of my Max

 

also, get the '97+ MAXIMA lettering ... or if you want you put the 5.5/6 gen "MAXIMA" lettering in place as well
