Crankshaft Position Sensors

When i go to shift my car the rpms will drop to like 500 or even lower. I just got a code p1335 which it says one of the things that cause it is a bas CS Position sensor. Is this what is causing my idling problems?

if you got a code for it I'd replace it, that is a very important sensor. I'd replace it before it may even prevent your car from starting.

it could cause iddling problems. its by the pulley so should be a quick job.

Midway partsteam has the nissan OEM for 54 bux. There are two CPS's tho a (REF) and (POS) what are the difference between the two? and i think it says the code is for the REF. Is there a better place to get them or is that a good price?

your P1335 code is for the CPS REF by the pulley.

REF - determins top dead center of each cylinder
POS - determins crankshaft speed
