Hey guys, just got done lowering my car w/ ground controls and tokico blues. It looks sweet, nice and raked. The ride is not as stiff as i thought it would be but there is def. a lack of body roll now which is awesome. I just wanted to know if it is normal for the suspension to creak a little bit when u first install it? Let me know, thanks
ok heres your solution order some AGX's get them in, take off the blues and put on the AGX's and sell the blues. then let your car settle, enjoy the changeable stiffness and the shocks that will take the lowest drop and not blow within a year or so.
when i first installed eibachs and gr-2's, they were creaking like a mother the first 2 weeks. doesnt creak as much now but i still hear it when i go over big bumps. not sure how stiff your ground controls are but maybe you should wait a couple of weeks to settle.

ok, i have put only about 25 miles on the car since install of the gc's and there is still some creaking. It only happens when going slow like backing out of a driveway and turning the wheel. It seems like something is too tight but i don't know for sure. help please...? thanks

ok i put the car up on jacks and found out that the aluminum top hat of the shock is rubbing on the bottom of the bearing plate, both being metal. Should there be a bushing or bump stop in there or should i have got a bushing kit w/ the ground controls? Please help
ok i just fixed my problem. I took the front suspension back off and installed a bearing that should have gone in there in the first place. Now its smooth when i turn the wheels lock to lock. I love the set up. Its a little bouncy but it sticks so much better than stock. I can't wait to get some wheels and tires for my baby. I will post pics of the drop as soon as i can, thanks
I have GC/AGX drop. I love the performance and handling part of it, but it is a pretty stiff ride. Although, i don't have much to compare to, its the only setup i've ridden on. I've got a few noises in my setup, mainly its the exaust hitting the rear axle. Very annoying clunking sound in the back that i need to fix.
You can also mess with the settings on the AGX struts to where you like them if you end up going that route. You can get the car really skwirmy if you don't set them right though.

You're supposed to tell them what struts you're using, and what typa driving you're doing, and they'll send u the proper spring-rate gc's. They used to have an exchange program where you get 1 month to change springrates (for a small cost). They're great with customer satisfaction.
As for the squeeking, I don't have a solution. The metal-metal seating surface wasn't a great idea, but not sure what other options you have. good luck.
