2k1 gauge cluster on 98

Hey, i'm getting a great deal on a gauge cluster from a 2k1 manual max, and i just want to know if it's all plug and play for my 4th gen wiring. I just want to have a 160 mph speedo, and i generally like the look of the 2k1 gauges better.

Let me know,

Thanks,
-Freddy

Nope, not plug and play. We will have to cut our harnesses and splice the correct wires in order to do so. I am searching for the wiring diagrams right now...

You're not the only, dude! While I love my 5th gen, I have always been VERY envious of the following 2 4th gen features:

(1) OEM Double Din slot for an LCD
(2) The wicked s'hit you guys can do to your clusters

I already fiberglassed a peice to eliminate #1, so now it's time to eliminate #2

lol..the 160mph speedo is all i want. I was thinking about painting another 4th gen cluster, but it would look kind of weird. I know a junkyard that has about 4 maximas in it, most of them with their clusters intact, but they're all 95-96's.
