0510 ECU code?

I guess now that it's paid off....time to do all the maintenance. First the coil packs and now this.

I thru a code today and it is 0510 but it is an undefined code when i was checking the diagnosis. Any ideas?

If it's undefined, just reset it and keep an eye on it. Happens all the time. These cars are code happy. Reset your ECU. Check the stickies for know how.

Shouldn't you be doing proper maintenance on your car even when it is still new and in your case unpaid for?? If you maintain it well your call will treat you right for a long long time.

i have the same code 0510, it is the rear o2 sensor. mine triggers the cel about once a week. it seems to be the same code as 0707. i sometimes get 0707 or 0510 or both. the rear 02 should not however effect performence or gas mileage.
does anybody know the difference between the 0707 and 0510, they appear to be the exact same thing according to the stickies

it's not affecting the gas mileage (or very little decrease) but the tip of the exhaust is becoming black with unburned fuel...the same way it was doing with my blown knock sensor..but the performance is still the same as stock..

I always do proper maintenance on my car, treating it like it is part of the family!
