Need part # (5spd guys)

I need the part number for the gear position sensor (neutral switch?) located at the bottom of our trannies (the cheap plastic piece roughly 40mm wide). Mine is cracked and is one of the sources of my small tranny leak and I would like to replace it when I rebuild my tranny. I work in a shop so I can get wholesale pricing on the part but I can't order it without the part # and I haven't been able to find it online anywhere. Thanks!

Isn't the neutral position switch on the top of the tranny? Maybe you're refering to the reverse sensor?

What does the Gear Position Sensor do? I just had my waterpump replaced at the dealer, and they did some other work while the car was in, including putting new radiator hoses, new belts, and new GPS b/c they said there was a small leak of tranny fluid. I think the shifting feels a little different since the car came back, it actually feels like there is more resistance when I shift, esp. when I first get in the car and take it out of gear, and then just move the shifter back and forth in neutral.
