Took these as the maxima guys are always asking me how the oem fit is (Cefiros fit the I30 fenders with out modification). As you can see the fit is supposed to be flush and tight.

the fit is tight in an i-30 like the gold one above, but there is about a 1/2 inch gap by the corner light on maximas, as well as 1/4 inch gap on the grille end under the light above the bumper. great looking lights, i'm disappointed they dont fit nicer w/o modifying the fenders

here's a good shot showing you gappage. it's alot more noticeable on a lighter colored car

from what i've seen the poor fitment is more noticable on the oem/ chrome cefiroes, cuz the smoked ones just kind of blend a little more. i still have a lot i need to do fitment wise on mine, i just havent had the time, but here's a pic

these aren't pics i usually show people cuz it really shows the ****ty fitment, but you wanted to see. it can be improved from this it will just take some more work that i havent gotten to quite yet. anyway hope this helps

Do you know if he's on here? I would like to know how he secured the S5 grill with the Cefiros. Thanks.

here we go:

i just finished extending the fender on the driver's side. pretty much you will have that gaping hole in the side, a 3/16" gap on the top side of the fender, a diference in contour by the hood/grille, and a gap on the grille end of the bumper because our lights dip down.there is also a difference in the contour of the light compared to the bumper. i had my 98 bumper and a stillen lip, but since you cant modify urethane bumpers i bought a fiberglass bumper so that i can make all the gaps disappear. i'll post pics of the fenders in primerwhen i finih tomorrow. it's raining like a mother out so it's slowed down my progress. it fits better than my e-36 lights did in my 3rd gen, but more noticeable.

lighter cars show more that darkr cars. the angle the picture is taken also helps. look at the front picture of my car(the black one with a greel grille and a busted VIS bumper), they look perfect.

btw, one side is in primer, starting on the other side now.

maybe a black grill will work better with your car...a chrome grill looks a bit off no?

what if i kept my original maxima head lights and just changed the corner lights into the european version, would there still be a gap?

if you don't know about the separate corner lights im talking about, you can check them out over here:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NISSA...06368430QQrdZ1

and well if im going to ask about that i might as well ask about the modified euro headlights that actually have the headlights separated from the corner lights so it's 2 pieces basically. im guessing they were made to prevent the gap, but im not sure so thats why im asking. you can check those out here:

yeah im not really pleased with the grille myself, i was thinking of gettin a white se grille, but im not really into that either. what i want it like the motostorm grille but i want to put a black tint on it. i just dont know how to tint it or attatch it with cefiros. thanks for the input though. i dont think i would do a black se grille on a white car. it just looks a little to much like i want to race, and thats not really gonna work since im an auto. its a work in progress
