Ok so one day in an act of boredum i decided to lighten my max alil more by removing the entire carpet. I already removed the AC completely (totally genius idea since i live in florida where the average temp is 75 and up but oh well). I have a leak in my car and the carpet would always get wet and soggy, and i knew it wouldn't be long till i ended up getting that crappy mildew smell so i gutted the carpet (hoped to find the leak also but still haven't, i think its around my windshield though because it pools in the middle of the car, but the roof is dry and so are the corners of the car, and it still gets wet even when the cars not moving, just sitting getting rained on). But thats besides the point my question is, what should i do, should i (after finding and fixing the leak of course) get some custom carpet put back in or should i (my original idea) use a type of liner (like truck bed liner) and do my whole floor with it so that its all one color (ie black). I think it would look pretty good (and be different). This cars my offical beater so i don't really care too much about doing crazy mods like this too it. Eventually it'll be just a track car and i'll complete finish gutting it, but that will be a year or so off. Right now all my extra money is going into my GSXR750, my new baby (grin). So for a quick fix, what do you guys think i should do?

I haven't had carpet in my car in 6 months. I looked around for oem carpet, and with padding and all, you'll be looking at around 200 new. That's what I'm going to do. JC Whitney is where I found the carpet btw, if anyone knows cheaper, plz tell.
