95-96 headlights glass???

are they glass??
is the only reason switch is becuase they turn yellow??
can someone get me a close up if they do turn yellow/hazy... i gotta fix...

yes they are mad of glass, mine are fine i see know sign of them turning yellow!!!

Yes, they are glass but people aren't changing them to '97-'99's because they yellow; they are changing them because the glass lenses have a lot of refracting lines cast into them. The later, plastic headlights are smooth and clear.

My headlights do look a bit yellow , Why is that? I don't like it anyways....

Is it hard to replace them? I wouldn't know how exactly...And where and how much can I get newer ones? thanks

I've seen '97-'99 reproductions on Ebay for about $100 each and $70 for the '95-'96. It's not that hard to remove the headlights, it just takes a while to figure out what to unbolt and what to pull on.

IIRC, they are an almost direct replacement; I think one bolt hole has to be re-drilled. The search engine should turn up plenty of hits on the subject.
