CEL help

i had a check engine light and i took it to autozone and had it checked for free, i had like 7 codes that came up, i took them all down and the guy resetted the whole computer so the check engine light would go away. now when i went to a mechanic to fix those codes, after he ran a diagnostics he found nothing because they resetted it at autozone, and i lost the paper i wrote the codes down on. my question to you guys is, how do i make the CEL come back on again so the codes can show up on the diagnostics?

Wait.

Drive around a bit, but mostly just wait, that's the only thing that will get you those codes back.

you lost the paper?..lol find it ... man you sound like a sloppy kid .. i feel bad for your car

you cant just disconnect the battery and have the codes come back... you have you wait or drive for a while so the ENGINE COMPUTER can sort out the codes again and flick your cel on ...
