yeah but bottom line is who's tranny is going to last longer, and which will be faster? 5spd's weigh less and can handle more power. you can shift faster/slower while an auto shifts the same way everytime, whether good or bad. and they dont last very long anyway. well, not unless you take very very good car of your car. i say that because nmex would tell me to look at his sig.

And that's why the fastest Supra ever was an auto...

Manuals are typically faster from the factory. I say "typically" because there are times when the auto is just as fast or a tick faster (for instance, WS6). However, when you start putting down high power (500+ or so), the auto will shift faster than any human can.
