digital tach. help!?

SO i installed my new gauge pod and one of the gauges was a digital tach. Does anyone know where to hook up to to get a tach reading from?

you'd need to get a signal from either a coil pack or behind the guage cluster (I believe green wire)

It should be the white/green striped wire coming from the ECU, or the green (?) wire attached to the back of the cluster, most likely directly behind the tach.

EDIT: Should be three screws behind the cluster, labeled GND, IGN, and TAM. TAM is the tach signal wire.

use the ecu its real easy just pop off the cover right on the passenger sides left foot, use a 10mm to take the harness off the ecu, take a flathead and undo the corners to the clear plastic casing and search on the lefthand side of the harness for a white wire with a green stripe and use a quick connect on it then run that wire through the center section behind the radio, ziptie it to teh other crap under the steering wheel, then take coat hanger with teh pillar off and stick it through. Tape the wire to the end of the hanger and pull it up then attach to the gauges wiring and be done. Hope that helped .

it should be the only white wire with a green stripe. the others should have differnt color stripes.

when you say it like that theres more than one white and green. MAKE SURE its white with green stripe and if your looking at the ECU from the passenger side then its more twords the upper lefthand side of the wire bunch, your gonna have to dig a little bit.

there it is, it says green on there but again its white with small green stripe on it
