Looking for pictures for 4G's w/ 20% or 35% tint (or anything in between...)
Hopefully some guys with be able to help me out on this...I will be giving my car to a local tint place after I get my car up to Rochester this weekend (damn I can't wait), but right now I can't decide on whether or not to get 20% or 35% tint. Either way, it will be the same all around on all the windows. I'm looking for pictures of 4G's, particularly Deep Evergreen or Dark cars with the above tint, or anything in between 20 and 35 that could provide some insight on how much you can see through...etc. Try to get some shots of sun going through the car to show how much light can be seen. I want a dark tint, but I still want to be seen. I saw a shot of 35% on a Acura on autopia.org and thought it was too light, but without seeing 20%, I fear it would be too dark. Any help is appreciated.

wow, that was quick...haha thanks for the pic. I'll check ou the homepage for some more. Do you wish you went darker, or are you satisfied with the 35%?
Also, here is the link to that acura on autopia.org with 35% side windows, and 20% rear window. I can't decide. http://autopia.org/forum/showthread.php?t=63312

Overall, I'm satisified.
My dad just got his black/black BMW tinted with 35% on the back and sides and 50% on the windshield. I might add the light windshield tint in the future, I really like the way his came out.
Here's an older pic of mine:

So I guess I've narrowed it down a little. 35% is too light for what I need it for (protection, looks), and 20% might be too dark for my taste. I'm thinking 25%-28% will be what I end up going with. Thanks for the pictures and links fellas, this helped a lot in the decision. Of course, if anyone would still like to show off, feel free!

Man, I can't decide because here is liquidx's car posted in the member rides forum: He has 35%.

That is perfect for me...but I don't know which look to expect if I walk in asking for 35% based on what I saw in this thread...

in direct sunlight you can see right through my 35% like it doesnt have anything on it at all. although i do have a tan interior, 35% is still a light tint. if i could do it again and not worry about legal issues itd be 20% for me.

Thanks for the pics guys. Be on the lookout for a member's ride thread with me in it. First, I will make one when I put a couple more layers of Klasse SG on it this weekend, and then will update it with the new tint pics.

I guess I could have narrowed it down even before starting this thread had I asked the question I just did to the tint place I'm speaking to. What they have is 22% and 32% Solar Guard tint. So those are my choices...but $130 for 5 windows right now and into next week...
