How to remove door inserts ?

hey,

I was wondering if anyone can help me with tips on how to install the leather on my door inserts. My way of ripping the cloth off and then cleaning the area and applying glue and leather on was not too bright.

I tried to take off the whole panel, but i saw that door inserts were part of the panel on my 99 max. Maybe i am wrong. Anyone have any advice on how to approach this ?

Not in Service Manual

I checked the 99 service manual and it's not there. Maybe it was not meant to remove?
