Installed 5th gen clutch...still confused

so after hours of abuse and headaches, me and joosdawg got my 5th gen clutch kit installed. We bled the clutch, and used redline mt 90 in the tranny. but now it seems like the gear box is rubbery, and is kinda awkward going into 1st 3rd and 5th. 3rd is the worst, feels really rubbery, kinda like it wont let me get into gear. It sucks at the track with it, wastes a lot of time trying to make sure its in there. Anyone have any idea whats up with the rubbery shifting?

Would that have anything to do with the actual 5th gen clutch though? As long as the clutch isnt slipping/shuddering, that problem should be isolated to whatever happened when you changed the tranny fluid, i would think...

My bet would be the linkage somehow. Get back under there and make sure nothing is rubbing against anything or the linkage could actually be "binding" giving you a rubbery feel.

I new clutch should feel firm and shifts should be crisp

the new clutch clamps firm and crisp how i expected it to, but the whole shifting part of it is what sucks. ill get back under the shift linkage and see whats up

shifter linkage is a tough cookie. one little bolt loose, and it feels completely different. My shifter linkage doesnt have the OEM bolts, I had to improvise, and I ended up breaking one of the bolts during a hard shift. Now i have a replacement bolt, but it still feels weird. i need to get my *** down to the nissan dealership and order up some bolts.
