Question about ECU Codes...Oh God

Okay so I have the codes 3-7, 7-6, and I swear I watched it blink 15-7 but this apparently isnt a valid code? 3-7 came back as a Closed Loop Control, what exactly is that and what needs to be done to correct this? 7-6 shows undefined. Anyone know what they are? I recently had some exhaust work done in which one of my o2 sensors needs to be replaced because the threads are jacked up due to someone selling me a bum y-pipe off of the .org. The codes didnt throw the cel until a couple days after the exhaust work so I'm assuming as soon as I can replace that o2 sensor and have a new bung welded in the pipe it will probably go away. But just want to make sure my car isn't in any real danger. Thanks

For the codes you were not able to get, (undefined) try it again and count carefully. Get a haynes

0307

Diagnostic Trouble Code 0307 points to a problem with the Engine Control Module Closed Loop Logic for the Left Bank. The left cylinder bank is also called the front bank. It is cylinders 2,4,6.

DTC 0307 is detected when the closed loop control function for the left bank does not operate even when the vehicle conditions meet the criteria (engine at normal operating temperature, etc.). Possible causes include ...
- Harness or connectors (The sensor circuit is open or shorted.)
- a defective Front Heated Oxygen Sensor sensing element.
- a defective Front Heated Oxygen Sensor heater.

i guess that solves that then for the most part, cel got tripped because my o2 sensor flappin like a flag in my engine bay. No idea how long the other codes have been there. I counted them probably 3 times each. I guess Ill just have to wait until the cel trips again and then reread them. Thank you sir, very good answer very quickly!

I've never heard of codes blinking so many x's, so I'm going to guess and say try it again .. but you probably cannot since you reset the ECU

Both of your front O2 sensors are shot... they might have been damaged during your y-pipe install.

I read your post, not sure why that needs quoting. The o2s are cheap splices that I didn't install...most likely will get a couple of oem replacements and put them in. Thanks. And yeah like I said, ill try and read them again when the cel trips again.

Get the Bosch OEM connector O2 sensors from www.oxygensensors.com, 70 bucks and plug and play and as good as original Nissan (since bosch is the OEM for Nissan o2 sensors).
