Affordable, Patent Pending Device Increases Gas Mileage, Decreases Emissions And Cleans Gasoline-Powered Automobile Engines.

CHICAGO, May 31 /PRNewswire/ -- Tony Bianco, a resident of Elgin, Illinois didn't just complain about escalating gasoline prices, he invented a device that increases the fuel mileage of most gasoline-powered automobile engines by an average of 33%. The device, called the MPG Booster, received patent pending status from the United States Patent and Trademark office on May 7, 2001.

The U.S. Department of Energy and the Environmental Protection Agency have identified that only about 15% of the gasoline that goes into a car is used to move the car; the rest is wasted. According to Bianco, ``The MPG Booster re-captures and eliminates some of that waste by helping the engine burn gasoline more completely.''

This is just what the doctor ordered for a cash strapped public that has seen gas prices in the Chicago area rise as high as $2.19 for a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline. Mike Holmberg of Maple Park, Illinois is one of many relieved consumers that have road tested the MPG Booster. ``I put the MPG Booster on my Ford Expedition as a favor to Tony. I was getting 13 miles to the gallon, now I'm getting 18. I was shocked.''

36.7% increased fuel efficiency, while adding five horsepower.

Independent testing at the Performance Technical Center in Elk Grove Village, Illinois, owned by Geoff Skorupa, confirmed that the increased mileage was not just wishful thinking on the part of those who field-tested the Booster. According to Skorupa, ``we ran a 2001 GMC Yukon on a chassis dynamometer, first as it came from the factory, then with the MPG Booster attached. The results were amazing.''

When attached, the MPG Booster increased fuel efficiency by 36.7% and boosted the engine's horsepower by 5. Subsequent tests confirmed the MPG Booster added approximately 4.5 miles per gallon to the Yukon, which ordinarily gets about 12 miles per gallon. Additionally, Tech 2 computer diagnostics showed there were no adverse effects such as higher engine temperature. ``Other than the increased horsepower, decreased emissions and, obviously, the increased fuel efficiency, the Tech 2 results showed the car ran exactly the same. The increase in horsepower is significant because it means the increased fuel efficiency is not obtained by sacrificing engine performance. Many of my Corvette clients would love to get an additional five horsepower and save money on gas.''

88% decrease in NO2 emissions.

Part of the testing also included a five-gas emissions test, the same gases regulated by most states. According to Mike Gustafson, a representative of the number one manufacturer of vehicle diagnostics equipment, Vetronix Sales Corp., ``We ran a five minute test on the vehicle with and without the MPG Booster. Four of the five gases tested remained unchanged, but the NO2 emissions (more commonly referred to as Nox), decreased by 88% when the MPG Booster was used. This is a substantial reduction of the gas that causes smog in our cities.'' Gustafson was impressed by these findings, but also recommended a complete and controlled emissions study to confirm the results. Following the testing, both Skorupa and Gustafson became MPG Booster owners.

The MPG Booster has just been released for sale to the public. The suggested retail price is $199.95, plus applicable tax and shipping. The product is guaranteed for the life of the automobile.

Energon, L.L.C. manufacturers and distributes the MPG Booster. The MPG Booster increases fuel mileage of most vehicles an average of 33%, significantly reduces emissions, and cleans the vehicle's engine for a longer life. Customers can purchase the MPG Booster by calling 1-866-GO-BOOSTER or by visiting mpgbooster.com .

Not to flame ya or anything...

But is this another one of those flimsy metal pieces that goes in the intake like the Tornado thing that came out quite a while ago? If so, those things don't work, that is quite a chunk of change for a wanna'be Tornado. I heard some of the imitations that came out came apart in the intake and jammed in the MAF, not good.

If this is not an add on before the MAF, then ignore this, as I said, not a flame, just information.

Um, if a device could improve fuel mileage by 33%, every car would come equipped with one. This device you describe, is it one of those phony Tornado things, or a fuel line magnet?? Either way, it doesn't work. Just like ZMax is supposed to increase fuel mileage? Doesn't work either, in fact the government sued ZMax and won, alleging false claims in the infomercial.

I suggest anyone who pays attention to the product above first read up on all the other "magic" potions and inventions that don't work, like Slick 50, Prolong, fuel magnets, etc....

What makes you think i'm selling something? That's kind of insulting. I just posted an article i found today, thought it might be of some interest or at least someone could shed some light on it.

dude chill out

thanks for the info Mason, I wasnt even aware that there products like that. Kashoggio, chill man, maybe some people found that information useful. Some of us arent as smart as you and dont know that those things dont work. I am interested, of course much research will be done before any purchases but at least now i know its out there. Other peoples opinions regarding the products validity were posted and your non informative input wasnt really even needed. Just my thoughts.

peace.

Two things:
1. What's the big deal about being a newbie. I mean, who really cares? We were all a newbie or a lurker at one point. It's a arbitrary name made up by the administrators of this board. It means someone new has joined. The more the better. It's a word on a computer screen, nothing more. So get over it.

2. It seems he was just quoting the article. The article was giving contact info. He was not trying to sell anything. It's just info, that's all.

Z-Max

Just a thought about z-max...if they got sued, why doesn't the gov't get rid of their infomercials (saw one on tv last Sunday)...nothing like fixing one problem and then having another 50 idiots buy the product again and then have to go through some cycle with the gov't or whoever to get their money back when they find out it's a hoax.

Oh, how I love America!

If this thing is for real >>

You can bet your VQ that big oil companies will find a way to fix it so that nobody would want to install the system. Either that, or they'll jack their prices up.

We live in a Bass Ackwards country. These companies are not allowed to false advertise but they are allowed to make money.

Sorry, but my first impression was that someone was hawking this product here. If you said early on like "Hey, what do you guys think of this?" I would have thought differently.
Anyways, welcome aboard!

Hell, I'll put in 6 or 8, the hell with those damn Hybrid Insights and Prius's!

But about this "invention"... If it was really as easy and convenient as it sounds, it would be a HUGE fuss.. I think it's BS but it would be really cool if such thing was really functional and made.

I hate percentages...

The thing only gave an extra 4mpg...to a Yukon that guzzles 10-12mpg...Ofcourse the % is going to be better. I wonder how this thing would work on a car that gets more mileage like 20-25mpg...Or better yet...Stick it one one of those silly Honda Insight things that gets 70mpg and see how it improves mileage...I bet the % wont be as impressive.

and there's that "most" word again..it helps on most cars...probably not ours...

my 2cents...

QUESTIONS:

If I used three of them, when I floor the motor, will I end up in Kansas? If so, you could stop by for a race.

Does it require an inlet screen Toto from being sucked in? Oh no we can't lose Toto. LMAO

Ok. This is totally stupid. The website has no info on it whatsoever. I'm not hearing this all over the news for some reason, how does this device work?

Until I see the design then maybe I can agree to buy one.
Ohterwise i'm surprised nobody else posted this:
