I didnt have a Capacitor For The Longest Time. and i was running almost 1000 Watts RMS. Not to mention Heated Seats Were On Alot, Blower, Bose on Full Blast. got to the point the Alternator only put out 13.3V at IDLE and everytime i stopped the car it would start to kill the battery.. hence Dead battery Number 2. well, thats all fixed now. im getting Older 300 watts from a Kicker Amp is Fine Enough for me.

Well if its resurrected...

I cut my carpet to put a piece of mdf under it near the drivers seat so I could bolt an amp to that. I also put a bolt into the floor pan in that area for a ground. The amp quit working and I ripped it out. Still have the nasty carpet right there and the bolt. I will probably go to a junkyard and get another carpet at some point to hide it all.

Future mods (which I already have some of the parts for) I think I won't regret:

Energy Suspension bushings and mounts
Exedy Stage 2 Clutch and new OEM flywheel
Tokico Illuminas and S-Techs
WS Y Pipe
Vortech Supercharger
Walboro 255 and Emanage

I regret installing a short shifter while I had my crossmember out to poly the mounts. I managed to f-up something in the transmission so now it sticks going in/out of 5th. Oh well, something fun to do when I have the trans out for a clutch job in the future. Yippee!

I regret putting a OBX under drive pulley. When I put it on my car it did not run right cracked and popped under acceleration removed put it back to
stock.

I also regret the STS to it's not worth the work, time, or money.

I regret getting a ram air intake, the noise was awesome but the loss in power made me constantly feel like the car is lacking. And soon I converted back to stock.

Anything bought from walmart instead of air freshener LOL, Reverse indiglo gauges that shine this annoying bluish green instead of clean blue, diamond plate floormats (look good but scuff way too easy), changing my 12's 3x instead of upgrading interior speakers once, replacing sarona front bumper with cheaper one and it not fitting.

Injen makes a "hydro-shield" for CAIs. I can attest to it's ability, I put it on my hand and put my hand under a sink faucet, and my hand came out completely dry.

I regret buying LEDs for my interior....wtf was I thinking?

HIDs
Yellow Fogs
Aftermarket head unit, old bosey didnt work anymore

And you've stopped me from putting tints and subs into a $2000 car that has great base to begin with...lol. Thank you for your wisdom.

Well, the only mods I have so far would be the drop in K&N air filter I put in about 7 years ago, factory red/clear tails and clear front turns. The only reason I regret buying the tails is because I spent $300 getting them off ebay about 7 years ago. They look freaking sweet with a pearl white paint job though. Even though It's pretty much stock, this baby still hauls ***. Even with 205k miles.

00vi VERY SOON!

P.S. I guess you could also count the fog lamps, gold emblems/lettering and a spoiler. I bought a trunk and bumper with the gold lettering and fog lights already in from the junk yard. Best $70 I ever spent on this car. Also a few free parts like a leather shift ****, gold antenna, etc. Junk yards are great.

DTM cracked the lenses reheating, awapping the leather back seat out of a 99 gle, there's a gap at the top, painting the interior of my corner lights black, didn't hate the look but could have used ascetone to strip the chrome finish off, and free hand cutting the tweeter wholes into the door panel 3 perfect one a lil oblong.
but thanks definitely gonna nix that led interior idea and i love my STS 2 years and no problems
