Y-Pipes

I have a '95 Maxima. I'm not sure if it's Fed or Cali spec. How can I tell the difference to make sure I get the correct Y-pipe? Any help is greatly appreciated.

95-98 All have the same ypipe. It does not matter if you are Calispec or not.
99 FED spec have the same ypipe as 95-98's.
99 Cali spec have a different ypipe.--It is similar to 00-01 CALI spec ypipes.

not to hijack but, I have a 99.5 cal/nlev, the proper y-pipe I need would leave the primary cats in place? or is there just one primary cat? Anyone have any pictures of a 99 cal spec y-pipe installed? just want to know what I'll be doing in the spring. Plus with NYS inspections I cannot remove the cats, without buying o2 simulators. Sorry if I'm not fimiliar with my exhaust, never really paid any attention to it when I was under there replacing an o2 sensor.

I have a cattman y-pipe on my 99 cali spec max. it was not too difficult, but you will have to install a o2 sim. the big problem is figuring out the wiring (which is the heater sensor wire, which is the 02 sensor wire) I'm still trying to get this one staightened out...

see

for a great write up.
