help in a few things.

ok first,
How long does it take for a transmission to break... ?
It's being 12000 miles with a horrible sound, and the transmission hasn't broken. But the weird sound still continues What else could it be?.
BTW I want the trans to break so I can replace it.

Second
is it ok to have my replaceble transmission on my shed, exposed to air. will it corrode anything? (it's been 2 months now)

third
My panic alarm doesn't work. why would it not work. (see fourth problem)
fourth
My car key can be romoved from the ignition at any position. how could I fix that? (do i have to take it to the dealer?) whould that influenciatew the panic alarm.
fifth

My drivers widonw doesn't go up (uless I pull) why would that happen?

thanks for all the help (if any)

Can you be more descriptive of the sound the transmission is making?

If you already have a replacement transmission, why not just swap it in? Why do you have to wait for the current one to die? It may die on you when you arent at home and youll have to spend extra money for a tow.

A transmision is not that big do you really not have any space inside to keep the new one?

well that is basicaly my dilema (swap it and have my car doen for a few days)
(lots of school work and job, can't affor to put those on hold)
the transmission if fine where it is sitting, (I just don'y know it corrosion will act on it and make the trans. useless. (by leaving it on the shed)
the sound it makes it is like when you put a playing card on the bicycle wheel. and it makes that "tap.tap...tap" noise. but it is loud and decreases and gearsa go up.
(1st loud -> 5th not noticeble)
