Whoa man, seriously your freaking me out when i read that. During that clip of the speedo the first time i tried that i got to like 85 because i was gonna do 0-100 and a HUGE black dog jumped out of a fricken cornfield and i had to slam on the brakes!! u were almost phsycic on that one and i almost had a wrecked car so thats why i only did 0-60ish.
Mxrider52- i assume your talking about burning the tires into 2nd? only reason i can do it is for one the mods and two a fresh clutch with only 300 miles on it i just put it in this past weekend and had to go have some fun now that its broken in for the most part. BTW my tires are Brand new aswell with 10/32nds of tread with the nubs and all and im still rippin . Our track in WI is open until a week straight of under 40* weather but i have no money to go. Anyone that wants to see what i run paypal me a donation so i can get some timeslips in this nice weather hehehe

I liked it, I haven't tried to catch second, I wonder if I even can, I reserve most of my abuse to auto-x and road courses, and this one road with no houses on it near where I live, elevation changes, s-curves. Either way nice vid.

thanks for the comments guys!! i really cant wait to get the headers on and dont worry i WILL be making lots of videos once i get those on. Like i said i really really wanna get to the track somtime soon!! 2damax- i actually sold the eclipse so i could buy my maxima with cash insted of loan and i had about $1200 over what i bought the max for hense all the mods and ive only had the car sense September so about 2 months now . as you should be able to tell every penny i get after rent, bills, ect goes into the max.
thismaxistight- i would LOVE to race ceasar but truth is his car will not be back to the states for a LONG time. I often joke to him about how i will stomp him but i will never know what i run until spring unless i run into some money somhow and quick.

really!? wow i didnt think it was that good. Man i really want to go to the track now, mind you this video was shot with 4 gallons of milk, just above 3/4 tank of gas(you can see in the speedo shot) and a trunk full of toys for baby and a backpack of stuff. Cant wait to gut it out and run! DANG i better win the lotto or somthing before this weekend so i can go to the track.

it all depends on how new or grippy your clutch is. Ive noticed most 5 spd maximas tend to have a good clutch but they wont hold under a high torque situation for some reason thus they shift normal and dont slip excessivly but yet they dont just GRIP and snap the tires either

its all in how you use it man i just replced my stock 150K clutch and it just starting getting bad then completly went out one day. Maybe the others cant drive? try a powershift, or the REAL test go about 35mph push clutch in rev it to redline, hold it there while shifter is in 2nd gear then dump it and floor it. If it slips your gonna be toast soon, if it grips and squeels the tires then your all set to go lol

Uhh yeah, we're both gay. whatever...

Why have your modded ECU make up for what your intake is losing when you can have a 100% improvement in performance?

Im sure you've been approached w/ that question before, so whatever. Your car, i'm gay, end of story.

dont worry about it man it was a little joke more geared twords jon as somtimes i like to make fun of him. Not saying your gay i just know it looses performance vs stock but when i bought my car it didnt include the stock intake so insted of using a duct taped MAF with a apc cone slapped on by previous owner i purchased the frankencar setup. Is that a better answer? and i didnt mod the ecu to make up for what the intake looses.

That was nice! You're exhaust sounds very smooth! I love it. I'm going to check out your exhaust clips in the exhaust thread right now. Hopefully they're working

*They're not working. Could you send them to me some how?*

I hope people make more of these!

I made one as well, but it's more of a video edit.
