Define a while?

All you need is 70 bucks - to fix the o2 sensor. The money you spend on extra gas will soon cost you more than just replacing the o2 sensor.

Same thing is true for the knock sensor. If it is really bad (which you won't know until you fix the o2 sensor), you're losing about 15% in mpg... so that will add up to $70-80 (new knock sensor from Ebay) pretty quick too.

No, 1-2 months would be no problem. Like I said, you are still burning extra gas (i.e. spending more than you need to on gas during that time).

Perhaps - if the codes get reposted then you're no worse off... just drive it without worrying about it for now... but fix it once finances allow.

Keep reading - especially all the stickies... there is more information in them than you could possible imagine. Just get familiar with what's in there - so you know where to look first, when you have a question. A lot of the common Q+As are covered in the stickies. Cheers.
