starter fix problem

starter fix problem

i didnt get to take the whole starter off because i didnt get to unplug the wire...so i decided to quit at it...

well...what happened when i tried to replace my battery...the terminals sparked and the starter spun and kept spinning!

what the heck happened?

You touched metal to something... hot wired your car ... Some people should not attempt certain tasks. really happened? Above post too vague ...

okay...took out the solenoid and put it back cause i couldnt get one wire off..i put everything back and as soon as i put the battery on...sparks fly.

ur mistaken..it had nothing to do with wiring...but there was metal inside it touching...but hey..its fixed now!

Not mistaken, just trying every option for you before you blow an extremity off.

It's not rocket science. Quite simple I'd say .... I bet if you unplugged the connector it might not have happenend

the problem was created because i didnt plug something back in...

inside the solenoid itself...its very hard to explain...not familiar with the parts inside the solenoid.
