20" rim info/roll call

T
hinking about getting 20's...Do they fit? With or without fabrication?Who has them ? Do you like them? What size tire do you use and anything extra for fitment...Also rubbing?

I do not "race" nor am I interested in how fast I can get from 0-60...

Oh....Yeah I heard it on hear before about off roading but I have seen them on maxima's before and they do not look like tonka trucks....

I just want some feedback...Thanks...

I like them for a show car. My 4th gen has tokico illuminas and springs and I have never had problems rubbing on bumps or turns.... I have Zenetti's which I must say are a strong rim! I will say I have 20" on my silver daily driver and it gets old.... bumpy ride a lot of times, tires are expensive and since they are pretty thin 245/35/20 they wear out quick daily driving. I still don't regret them. I'd like to try 19's or 18's on the daily driver it's always nice when winter comes I get a break from the harsh ride when I put my stock wheels back on. I guess it's all preference and how you like to ride in your max... it also depleats a lot of stability on turns and slows you down cause they are pretty heavy. But everyone is different I still have mine on so they can't be that bad....?

Personally, I think 20's look retarded on a maxima. Anyway, all the answers for your questions can be found in the faq's... so read.

Most people do. It's a touchy subject for some but I see it both ways.... I like some and hate some...

it does get really high off the ground with 20s too, well it feels that way for sure....going from my old 20s to 17s was a weird feeling to say the least
