DAMN...it's a small spot under there...I have a TS ECU that I'm tryin to put in,well,it's plugged in,but sitting on my pass side floor.Got the 2 bolts out that go into the floor,but is there something holding it in the back?! or is it just the wiring harness that makes it impossible to get out??? Help is appreciated,thanks.

The easiest way to remove the ecu is to get a cold chisel and knock the heads off of the screws that hold the ecu to the bracket. Then you can slide the ecu out without removing the bracket. Just slide the TS ecu in and secure it with one or two of the front bolts.

You can do as stephen suggested. The wiring harness has black plastic clips attatched to bracket which you need to cut. It helps if you another person on the other side to help push or pull or to see whats holding it back.

or sit and yell profanities using an offset screwdriver and getting the 4 screws out with manual labor lol. I swear it took like 6 hours to get those rear screws out. What i ended up doing was i got the two front screws out and then after a while got the drivers side rear screw out. Couldnt get the passenger rear screw so took a 1/8" ratchet and socket to get those front bolts that hold the bracket down out. After getting those out i was able to twist the entire bracket by pushing as hard as i could on the rear(shifterside) passenger side. After getting it twisted like that i got the passenger side rear bolt out of the bracket and it slid right out.

i used needle nose vice grips and got them out in about half an hour, it was still a b!tch though/

took me like 10 min. there are 4 screws that hold the ecu into it's bracket thing.
i use a philips head from a kit like this, and just pressed the head against the screw while using a small open end wrench to turn it.

wow thats an awsome idea i think i would deff do that if i had to do it again, cant belive i didnt think of that. Good thinking aznsap!
