i finally got ONE stubborn door panel removed. i have 2 questions as of now:
what is the stuff that bonds the outside of the vapor(plastic) shield to the door of the car? (it's black)
can you remove this large styrofoam block inside the actual door? what is it used for?
is there anything i should watch for when dynamatting and/or spraying rubberized undercoat on then door? thanks

Yes. I've taken my door apart about 20 times.
It's ok to remove the styrofoam pieces from the door if you plan to sound deaden the door a little bit so your speakers sound better. The plastic covering the door is being held with silicone caulk which can be removed by a steady peeling process. What is the reason you are removing your door panel? I completely sound deadened my doors to make my stereo sound better. If you have anymore questions, email me or visit my homepage.

1) should i remove all of that sticky stuff that stuck on teh plastic and the door? or should i just stick the plastic back on there?
2) there are a lot of small and large holes in the outer frame of teh door (metal). is it safe to cover those? what were those intended for in the first place?
