I have had a strange noise come from my car a couple of times since i added more power steering fluid, it happens when it is cold out and I run the car hard and it only happens when I am turning the wheel. It's a loud squeaking noise, I know this is a dumb question but am i supposed to be worried? I think it's because I was lazy and just added more ps fluid instead of draining it. Is this normal?

 

not really sure but mine had similiar problems loud sqeaking during turns turned out leak in the line 2 different spots.

 

if it is a "pop pop pop" then it is most likely your CV Joints. If its a "squeeeeeeeel" then check the tension on your drive belts, chances are it is a bit off. Also, check the belts for rips, tears, etc. Replace if nessesary.

 

Well it happened again today and not my CEL is one so i'm going to go by autozone after class, this is the last thing i need
